Meditation doesn’t have to be perfect to be powerful.
Whether your brand new or trying to restart your practice, these simple tips are here to remind you even one minute of mindfulness matters.
1. Start with just three minutes! Don’t wait for the perfect moment or block of time. Even three minutes a day builds the habit and trains your brain to pause.
2. Use guided audio or apps! Try Calm, Headspace or Inner Timer. Guided meditations remove the guess work and help you stay present.
3. Embrace the wandering mind! Thoughts will come and that’s OK. Notice them without judgement and gently return to your breath.
4. Consistency > Perfection! Meditation is practice, not a performance. Breathe, begin again, and trust that progress comes with time.
