As flower season winds down, start planning for next year's blooms!

Saving flower seeds doesn’t have to be messy. Save the seeds from your best plants. This helps ensure future plants will be healthy, strong and beautiful.

Tying organza bags around the blossoms allows you to let the flowers mature on the plant. It also keeps them safe from birds and wind.

Make sure you label the bag or plant stem, so when it is dry, you remember what flower it was.

When the flower is fully dry, snip the stem or head off the plant. Separate the seeds from the chafe, ensure the seeds are totally dry, and store them in an envelope or small container for next year.
