As a woman going through perimenopause, these are some things I no longer care about.  

1) Long hair. I’m always hot and I just want it off my neck.  

2) Clothes that aren’t comfortable. Some days I feel like a stranger in my own skin. The last thing I need is the waistband in my pants digging into my stomach.  

3) Wear makeup to leave the house. If my bare face scares you, that’s a you problem.  

4) Eating. Who knew food aversions was a symptom of perimenopause.  

5) Shaving above the knee. Although let's be honest, I never really did that anyway.
